This made me smile

It’s an absolutely beautiful day here in Melbourne, sunny, blue skies, 31 degrees celcius (or 88 fahrenheit for those stuck on the old system).

You can’t get much better than that – it’s days like this when you can’t help but smile!

Something else that makes me smile is when I receive emails from traders sharing how much we’re helping them…

Like this email I received last week from Dean from Australia, who lets us know what he really thinks of the ‘Building Robust Strategies Masterclass‘ with Bob Pardo:

“This course goes above and beyond in content and presentation. It is everything a systematic trader needs to build and test a robust trading system…

I was somewhat confused before the course about the use of optimisation and walk forward analysis, due to all the misconceptions you hear around, but this course has definitely put that to bed.

This is the most detailed fully comprehensive trading course I think I ever purchased. I am so pleased I have this course in my tool kit now. A big thank you to Bob and Andrew for all their efforts in producing this magnificent course.”

-Dean, Australia

I’m so glad of the positive impacts the program is having on Dean (and many other traders), however Dean raises a great point here – the correct application of optimisation CAN be tricky.

There are alot of opinions out there about how to optimize (or whether you should do it at all), and if you get it wrong it can kill a potentially profitable trading system very easily, but hearing Bobs approach to optimisation based on almost 40 years in the trading industry can really put those questions to rest.

Bob has won numerous trading awards (like Futures magazines ‘Trader of the year’), spent time consulting to companies like Goldman Sachs and even pioneered the ‘Walk Forward Analysis’ approach to trading.

The Building Robust Strategies Masterclass‘ is an exclusive opportunity to learn how Bob builds robust trading strategies for himself, his consulting clients and his fund Pardo Capital, which you can’t get anywhere else.

If you want to learn how to build strategies that don’t just look good in a backtest but actually work in Live trading and will probably make you smile too, you can get more info here.

Cheers,
Andrew.
