Do you want to get started in trading?
I’ve been a trader for almost 20 years now.
I’ve interviewed many of the worlds top traders.
I’ve studied lots of great traders and their techniques…
And I’ve also been tricked and scammed.
What I can tell you from experience is that there are lots of different ways to make money in the markets. And lots of people who want to show you their way.
But it’s hard to know who you can trust.
So, here’s the 1 tip I would give if you wanted to get started in trading today:
Don’t trust anyone or anything until you can prove it for yourself.
There are lots of trading “gurus” out there, sharing secret trading techniques and nice looking charts.
But just because someone says something works, that doesn’t mean it’s true.
Trading is a confidence game.
And the only way you can have full confidence in something is if you prove it for yourself.
Some traders can get by on faith short-term, usually when trading is working well…
But when trading turns to crap, it can be much more difficult to continue without evidence or confidence.
So any time you come across a trading insight, don’t accept it blindly.
Regardless of who they are, verify it first.
